Phinda Mountain Lodge is situated within the 23 000 hectares (57 000 acres) of Phinda Game Reserve in the scenic Maputuland region in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The lodge is situated near the St Lucia Wetland World Heritage Site.
Guests can arrive from OR Tambo International Airport and land at Phinda Airstrip (by private charter). Guests can also fly via Richards Bay. A road transfer from Richards Bay will take about 2 hours, while a flight from Richards Bay will take about 30 minutes.
Transfers can be provided at an additional costs. Flights are subject to availability and weather conditions. Phinda is also easily accessible from Johannesburg and Durban. The drive from Johannesburg will take about 6 hours, while the drive from Durban will take 3 hours.
